He understands

In the Gospels, we see Jesus experience everything that we go through.  He cried when his friend died (John 11:35).  Jesus was frustrated with other’s lack of faith (Matthew 17:14-21).  He was physically exhausted after a long day (Matthew 14:13).  Jesus had compassion for people who were harassed and helpless (Matthew 9:35-36).  Jesus was misunderstood (Matthew 12:23-24).  Jesus was angry when religious leaders made it difficult for people to worship God (Matthew 21:12-13).  Jesus was betrayed by a close friend (Matthew 26:14-16).  Jesus had religious leaders conspire to destroy Him (Matthew 12:14)

Jesus experienced every emotion we go through.  The writer of Hebrews put it this way in Hebrews 4:14-16:

14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Whatever you are experiencing, Jesus can sympathize with you.  He can relate.  Jesus knows how you feel.  What are you to do? Draw near to Him in prayer.  Draw near, with confidence.  What will happen then?  Your circumstances may not change, BUT you will receive mercy and find grace to help.

Jesus has opened the way for us to pray to the Father.  Pray.  Tell Him how you feel.  He understands.
