As I sit here thinking about Thanksgiving my thoughts turn to all the Lord has given me. Last night we were sitting on the couch watching our two precious little ones running around playing. What a blessing they are. I told Matthea this morning that Saturday will mark the 5 year Anniversary of when I proposed to her on the beach at Amelia Island!
The Lord has given me so much in the way of family. He has also given me Himself. When we have nothing else to feel thankful for, think about our Father in Heaven who allows us to be a part of His family. He sent His Son so that we could come and be with Him for all eternity. In the midst of a busy life, we need to stop and reflect on that more often. Too many times we look at the things we don’t have and wish we did. But the truth is that God has given you everything He wants you to have. If there is something you feel is missing, there just may be a reason you don’t have it.
This Thanksgiving, Thank Him for what He has given you!
